The Yakkyofy Chrome Extension can identify a product image, search through a vast database of over 12 million products, and provide a quotation, including shipping prices for more than 100 countries, all within a few minutes.
How to Install the Yakkyofy Chrome Extension
To start using our Chrome extension:
- Visit your Yakkyofy Dashboard > Quotations > Image Search Tab.
- Click the “Chrome Extension” button, or directly download it from the Chrome Web Store.
Next, add the extension by clicking the top right button in the Chrome Web Store.
Ensure you are using Google Chrome as your browser, as the extension is incompatible with mobile devices and other browsers.
Logging In and Getting Started
Once installed, click the Yakkyofy icon in your browser and log in using your Yakkyofy credentials. You will then see a list of supported stores, including Aliexpress, Alibaba, Wish, Gearbest, Banggood, or Amazon.
How to Use the Chrome Extension to Request a Quotation
- Visit one of the supported marketplaces and find a product you're interested in.
- On the product page, click the Yakkyofy Chrome Extension icon.
- Select the shipping destination and choose the three best images that represent your product.
- Click the “Start Search” button.
Yakkyofy’s software will calculate the shipping cost for over 100 countries after you select a specific product and supplier. Initially, you will choose one shipping country to get an estimate, but this does not limit you to shipping only to that country. You can view all shipping options once you've selected your supplier.
After clicking “Start Search,” a series of images will appear. Deselect any that do not match your desired product. This step helps the Yakkyofy Chrome Extension accurately source your products from our extensive supplier database and provide you with a quotation at B2B prices.
After you click the “Start Search” button, wait a few moments for the quotations to appear. You can continue browsing other pages while the extension works in the background. Once ready, you will receive a browser notification.
To review your results:
- Click the lens button in the Chrome Extension.
- Or, go to your Yakkyofy Dashboard > Quotations > Image Search Tab and click on "Detail."
Here, you’ll see the researched product on the left and the best match on the right. Choose your preferred supplier and click "Choose Product."
All approved Image Search Results or quotations will appear in the Quotations > Dropshipping Tab. At this stage, there are two options:
- Immediate Import: If both the product price and shipping cost are available, import it directly to your store by clicking "Choose Product."
- Manual Quotation Request: If the shipping price is unavailable, request a manual quotation, where a team member will provide the shipping cost within a few days. This feature is available with our Premium Plan and counts towards your monthly manual quotation allowance.
The displayed shipping price may need adjustment depending on the product's actual weight, which can only be verified once the item is received at our Shenzhen warehouse. This occurs when you place a dropshipping order, request a sample, or purchase stock.
If your Image Search result is marked in red, indicating no direct match:
- Click on the product title.
- Then, click the “Request a Quotation” button to ask for a manual quotation.
This process usually takes 3-5 business days, depending on your subscription level. Note that this feature is unavailable for Yakkyofy Free users; subscribing to a paid plan is required to request manual quotations.
Once you receive the final quotation, review the shipping prices for all available countries and import the product to your store.
